Product Merchandising
Product Brand:
Client Type:
Three Stakeholders involved:
- The Branded Paint Manufacturer
- The Branded DIY Retailer
- The Product Manufacturer
Objectives:
To undertake a Seasonal Paint Review for a specific Product Range by changing the locations of all POS Paint Chips on a Retailer's Display to match New Planograms.
Number and Type of Locations:
220 Retail DIY Stores throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland, from Inverness to Penzance and Londonderry to Newry
Challenges:
To produce Store Specific Planograms - 27 variations - to match the Product Range and Displays in 220 Stores and distribute these together with a Store Specific Box of Paint Chip POS to a Team of 20 Merchandisers.
Implement the Change Review to a fixed schedule within a 10 Day window and accurately report to all Stakeholders the status of each display within three weeks of the start date.
Project Deliverables:
All 220 sites were visited within the Timescale set and each Planogram was checked and changed to meet compliance for every section of the Display.
If the Display did not match the Planogram profiled for a Store then a replacement Planogram was immediately procured and the change was implemented to suit.
Issues regarding missing POS Chips were reported on a daily basis via Asset Tracker's Web Based Reporting Tool, to enable all Stakeholders to view exceptions at headline level or detailed at Store specific level.
